Our Simple Zero Waste Strategy

Donate refrigerators to schools, to save and preserve as much leftover safe, prepackaged food from being thrown out.

Coordinate volunteers to pick up the food and bring it to our partner organizations (shelters, food pantries) for distribution to those in need.

The Should Project provides schools with the proper equipment needed to safely store the leftover food. Then our volunteers perform regularly scheduled food pickups, at which point the food is brought to one of our partner organizations for redistribution in the community.

The Should Project aims to make a difference in the Las Vegas community by providing schools with support and resources needed to help individuals and families facing hunger. Through its’ initiatives, The Should Project seeks to raise awareness about this pressing issue and create sustainable solutions for those affected.
THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
In addition to addressing the issue of hunger, the food collection keeps literal tons of waste out of landfills, lessening the environmental damage created by greenhouse gasses.
